Fault showing on Magnum Inverter
#1

Coach was parked at the house for a day and becuase it was only a day I didn't plug in.  After 24 hours or so I got a notice on my phone that power was out and I went out to the coach and inverter had shut off and the fault light was on.  I fired up generator as I was leaving in coach in an hour or so and I still had 59% left on my SOC.  First time this has happened to me and I'm tyring to figure out what I should be looking for as we're heading out on a trip the end of the month and boondock the whole time and I'm not a fan of hearing the generator all the time.

oops, the particular fault should have been on the display.

Your SOC can get “off” over a period of time. When you plug back in, use the control panel to “force” the charger to charge. That should top you off, and reset the SOC meter.

My Outback inverter started doing this. I have another inverter charger coming Wednesday. Sadly is is not showing any codes. It has been out of production for several years. So I figure it's time to replace it.

Brad,

If you will scroll a bit in this link, there is a screen shot showing how to retrieve the fault codes.
