Help identifying a sensor?
#1

Trying to clean up some issues in the wet bay of #639.  This sensor/sender looking thing is hanging above the city water regulator.  Anyone know what it is for?

Its either a temp sensor or a door sensor so when you open the door the light will come on or could be a tank level sensor but its high so I bet its a magnetic door sensor. Turn on the light and put a wrench on its surface and see if the light goes out.

Hmmmm it could be the temp sensor for the wet bay. You may have a temp display over the microwave. Look at the inside temp. Put your hand on the sensor for a minute and see if the temp goes up

Apparently, it’s not the door sensor as the door sensor is still working even with it hanging out there can’t really tell if it’s the temperature sensor because my temperature sensor always indicates LO. !!!
