Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the 2 bolts holding the air governor on if you can't break them loose with a socket and rachet or 3/8" cordless impact. I've sprayed the governor with penetrating oil, just not budging and I don't want to snap the bolt. Hoping someone might have an idea. Coach #375
Thank you,
Jeff

I cant say for Newell but most air governors have 2 through bolts with a nut on the other side. I usually snap them off with a 1/2 inch impact and replace with new ones. Newell quite possibly welded the nuts though. Hard to say. They get really corroded from the difference in metals and road grime. Otherwise let penetrating oil sit for a few hours then spray it again and try a wiggle. If i recall correctly they should be 1/4 20 by 2 and a half with a nyloc nut.
