Working on the last air leak on the front of the coach and need some help identifying this part. It has a relief at the bottom leaking a slight amount of air.

Be aware when you replace that front height control valve. Newell uses a setup where the vertical arm is mounted to the sway bar. As the front end rises and falls the sway bar pivot. However the sway bar rotation is no where near the actual up and down movement of the front suspension. Therefore the arm is very short on the HCV to compensate for the lack of movement. It makes the adjustment of the valve VERY sensitive.
To complicate matters, the DANA IFS 84 suspension changes toe in of the front tires with a change in ride height.
Measure ride height carefully before you begin.
And always make sure you have adequate support for the coach before getting under there for any reason.

As Richard says its very sensitive, from a commercial standpoint those micro bubbles you see are not worth changing the valve out. You could buy a spare for when it actually fails. Air will be hissing out of the nut in the center where the arm connects to the rubber end, otherwise I'd leave it alone. If you wanna carry spare things though the rubber grommet top and bottom are common failure points. I would get 2 of each. Also get a few of the tiny hose clamps that hold it together. Just my 2 cents worth.
Sorry to side track this thread but I thought I would through a pitch for Carl he is a retired ice trucker in Alaska, he and I had a good discussion on what happens during on the road emergency's and what spare parts he carried as the driver is the mechanic also in most of Alaska. Like many truckers he's a fan of the series 60 and alison combo.
My go to kit has
10 feet of each airline size i might need
4 each push fit unions, 90s, and straight connectors
spare leveling (height control valve) with 2 rubbers each top and bottom with 4 hose clamps
spare turbo boots 2 with 4 clamps
spare alternator
3/4 heater hose with 2 union barbs and ... clamps
100 foot airline to fill tires with fancy one with the gauge
tire plug kit... very useful I once made it 1100 miles on a Michelin that i stuffed 9 plugs into the hole
2gallons each oil and 50/50 coolant fits nicely in a milk crate
small 50 buck set of sockets from Lowes
2 12 inch adjustable wrenches
1/2 inch ratchet with 1 1/8 socket for air bag top nut
2 air bags
and the 2 most important items... ZIP TIES and DUCK TAPE 3 inch wide holds a coffee cup perfectly
Things i would have liked to carry...
spare tires mounted and ready
20ton jack
Milwaukee cordless impact with sockets
It really sucks when you waste a whole day or 2 waiting on a tire
