Hey does anyone know if I need a special lilicense in California to drive a coach with air brakes?

In Texas if a coach weights more that 26,000 pounds one needs a B class license. I think this applies to a lot of other states also. I think it is seldom checked, but if you were in a accident it might be a problem. I have one and it takes a written and driving test which is not that difficult.
