I recently acquired a 1984 Newell Coach!

I will be making many repairs and some restoration work. I'm glad this forum exists and have learned much all ready from reading your posts.

Im looking forward to being able to cross the nation in vintage style!

Welcome Nebraska Neweller. Congratulations on your recent acquisition.

Sounds like you should fit in well here. Tell us a little about yourself and your Newell.

I'm a Foretravel owner looking down the road for my next coach and realizing that as much as I love my U320 there are other great coaches out there. Soooo I will be asking a lot of questions as I learn about all the things that make Newell's great. Thanks for your patience.

I haven't checked in for a while, but here is a list of activity over the last two summers on my Coach.

Replace right bank cylinder head.
Replace water system compartment floor w/ 18 gauge galvanized steel.
Repair/ reinstall water system.
Repaint complete exterior w/ aircraft Imron paint.
Solar panels and controller install to maintain the batteries.
Replace all exterior marker lights.

Ect.................

I can't wait to get finished up and go on a trip!

Notice the large fiberglass repair on the rear upper panel, due to cracking of the original panel.

No pain, No gain..........

That is looking great!! Nice paint job. If you don't mind sharing, what are the last two digits of the VIN and in your repairs? Also, did you happen to come across any markings of a two digit number either on the inside of wood panels or the inside of the engine bay doors?
