If you happen to see any Newell newer than 1519, a photo and a confirmation of the VIN would be greatly appreciated. I think I have all of them from 214-1519.

Well I'm here along with some other old friends. Gonna start on it at 630 bright and early.. Hey Richard saw another 99 that did their own headlight conversion.. Yours is wayyyyyy better.

Love to see a pic just to get an idea of how they did the conversion. I am at bestgenmans this week. Our coaches were parked side by side. We did a quick comparison of the hella halogens vs the xenon HIDs. Wow, it was worth the extra cha ching for the xenons

Well guys started at 630 done by 11:30. New transfer switch, programmed remote for tv, fixed auto fill switch,fixed slide wall behind driver seat it had pulled away from slide just a bit. Reprogrammed forced # 3 slide floor raise, fixed rear view camera, replaced shore power indicator light, fixed powered shade, replaced several latches , washed outside and cleaned inside. Replaced pressure pro sensors. .. Couldn't be happier with the entire experience.. Now to rascal flatts concert and lake

Marc, how did they fix the slide wall where it was pulled away?
Did they use Sikaflex? Rivets?
Also how did they "hold it" in place while it cured?

Forest, I think you are talking about my coach with the sides pulling away from under the slide.
They peeled the side loose all the way from the front of the slide to the back. (They held it away from coach by taping it to a ladder). The side was still attached on the back edge.
Then they cleaned up the corrosion from under the skin. Big job.
They covered most of the exposed area with 3M VHB tape. (multiple layers to build skin up to the right level to match the slide surface).
They used 3M 560 Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant in the areas that they could not reach with the tape.
The tape is STICKY!
They eased the skin back down and then held it in place with a block of wood and forklift to hold it in place.
No rivets were needed. It is perfectly smooth and I believe it is a permanent fix.
While they had the strip loose, they cut drain holes at the front and back of the skin to allow water to drain out from around slide seal.
They did a fantastic job! I could not be happier with the work.
