Hello everyone. We have to pick a place for our 2014 Rally.

I would like to propose that we get together in the Ozarks in Arkansas.

Steve Bare has done the homework and has met with the folks at

The Ozarks RV Resort at Tablerock Lake. A number of you have stayed there in the past as well.

They have first class facilities, a lake with a boat dock, beautiful sites and they are willing to give us a discount. I really appreciate Steve for taking the time to go there and scope it out for us.

The proposed week is the last full week in June. roughly starting the 22nd or 23rd and lasting a full week like last summer in Spearfish.

So many of our Gurus are in that side of the country and it is a great place so we thought it would be a wonderful place to get together again.

It is not possible to make the dates and place be perfect for everyone, but the intent is to make it so those that have kids can come (meaning summer time)

Branson is very close as well for fun things to do.

I contacted a number of places and most didnt seem interested.

Darlene and I love that area and know you would as well.

As usual, having a Newell is not a requirement. Just the willingness to hang out, make new friends, get reaquainted with old ones and have a ball. Of course i am sure i have some things Richard can fix for me as well....

So guru's, what do you think?

Might have to change our plans but late June might work for us. We usually spend the first 2 weeks in Louisiana for family. Just have to decide where to go in the spring so we aren't too far from Ozarks.

Great place! Stayed a couple of times... However it is 2 hrs from 30 min. away... Just ask Ron Skeen for directions... Once there the front row or waterfall lots have great views.. Just bring what you need. Many different lot set-ups.

Good point Matt. Will they be able to put all of us together? Most if not all of the lots are owned and probably used throughout the summer.
