I am thinking about heading up to Connecticut in the coach to pick up a new motorcycle for my brother. The route would take me from Alabama up the east coast through the Carolinas, Virginia, and New York.
I have heard that the Blueridge Parkway would be a nice way to go, but am worried about the tunnel heights along the road.
Has anyone driven their coach along the parkway? Alternate routes?
Thanks!

While the BRP is a GREAT ride for a bike, I'd use I81 to get north. You get very similar scenery without having to work for it and you can run a reasonable speed. The BRP would have you running 30-35 mph most of the way.
What kind of bike are you picking up?

I ran it a few years ago in a 40' coach, but it was not as high as my Newell. However, I had difficulty exiting since the curves are too tight.

I have ridden all the parkway on a bike and was a great ride. I would not want to do it in my M/C. Stay on 81 and ride your bike on the parkway.
