Ron,
You can take 400 to Hwy 69 south. That will take you right to the Newell factory. It's about 35 miles on Hwy 69 after you turn off 400. There is a 13'8" bridge, but you will fit under. The bridge is on Newell's test drive route and they don't even slow down.
Yes , this area is awesome and very remote to most people! love all the road passes as you know we cycle ( doing Monarch pass, Wolf Creek pass this week to name few )
I also did killer mtb ride up to Nelson peak at 12,000 feet trough the Bachelor canyon and back down to Creede, it was hard and spectacular views !!
We are fly fishing all the small creeks and headwaters of Rio Grande, great area for hiking and ATV's Balloon festival went right over our coach for 3 days !they had this weekend ATV Rodeo, Gravity Darby, Mountain Run , Salsa Fiesta & Fireworks to name few ! just in 4 day weekend!
Also, some 18 Wonderlodge coaches came in for the 5 day rally here!
Casino built a new RV park. It has concrete pads & roads. Electric & water at site. Easy access dump station on exit road. Coach fits in site and we parked car alongside. No other facilities. You get one night free for each Q-club card holder in coach. Q-club cards are free. Park is located on the Oklahoma & Missouri border just off of I-44, exit #1.

We are staying at Camp Newell which is very close by and cost us just a wee bit more than "Free", but so worth it for the extra amenities.... This was a very good visit and got new ''Shoes" put on and a spray on paint protectant (Bra) on the front and sides of the cap. As always everyone here made the week long stay easy. They are working added hours in service and Thursday night there were people on our coach doing an alignment at 8:00pm and they worked all Friday too... Spent time with some great Newell owners like Bobby Fox, Blane Devillier and John Brown .... Encouraged them all to join our group ......

We loved the Tom Sawyer parK in West Memphis, actually in Arkansas. Only issue we faced is that while I was at work up the road in Wilson, Arkansas, and Susie was alone with no car and only two or three other coaches in the park, a tornado was spotted about 10 miles down the river moving toward the park. It missed but not without a few tense moments.
