The 1982 Newell Classic owned by Prairieschooner, a member here, was bought a week ago by my sister-in-law. This coach is one serial number removed from our 1982 Newell Classic. It was one of two coaches built for brothers with the last name of Law, who lived near Denver, CO. They were both delivered to the brothers in March of 1982. Prairie schooner (Steve Ward) found his Newell in Yuma, AZ in 2008 where it had sat for a number of years after the death of its 2nd owner. I found mine in Palm Desert, CA in 2008 where its 2nd owner, Fred Hornbacker, kept it stored when not in use. Now, after all these years the 2 sister coaches have been reunited....

That is a third Houghtaling sister that now has a Newell: Elaine and Clarke Hockwald (1982), Glenn and Laureen Parker (1984) and now Phyllis and Charles Wilson (1982). We hope to get all those classics together within the next 12 months.
