Harley the pup checks out the 6 beautiful Newell coaches attending the 2024 Bardstown Norallyrally! Jack Houpe’s gorgeous Prevost Marathon was also in attendance.

One Newell arrived with a hot brake. Newell gurus gathered around offering expertise, sage advice and muscle to diagnose a malfunctioning brake adjuster. The rest of us watched, offering moral support. I took the picture and fetched a screwdriver from my tool box :-)

Great fellowship and good way to learn about newer and older coaches than we have. Gordon was instructing me on how the tag axle braking system came apart on a later model coach with Valid slides. We have made new friends (James and Valaire) and also put faces with people we knew but never met (Dean and Debbie, Rick and San). Good times

We have had a class on rebuilding 6 packs that coach is going on day 2 at the same level, also installed vacuum pumps for slide seals on a 3 slide coach, repaired air leaks found with the cosmo ray gun bittle ultrasonic leak detector, had a lecture from Gordon on the operation of a self adjusting tag axle brake adjuster (directed at me which was much needed), got to view newer and older coaches Deans coach is a gem of workmanship along with the others who have worked to maintain or make them better than when new, discussed lithium battery conversation along with newer style inverters and the positive potential of them plus cost savings and more.
