The system is not firing or doing anything. The only thing that happens is that one of the relays click when the switch is turned on and off.
I wasn't trying to get ahead of myself, just curious about the possibility of replacing the unit. I called a couple places today about possibility getting parts and was basically laughed at because I was trying to find parts for a 25 year old unit. If we can get it going reliability that would be cool but I'd still be interested in replacing it.
I figure if it was a home and the 25 year old furnace was giving us problems I wouldn't keep on working on it to keep it going, we'd just replace it. And with it not being oem and obsolete there isn't going to be any technician that will even work on it. If it costs 8 or 9 grand for a new unit and piece of mind then it is worth it to us.
I do very much appreciate the support though. I enjoy working on things but I don't enjoy having to keep work on things to keep it going. If it wasn't our home and we had a shop to store it in and work on it between uses that would be a different story.

Tyler,
First- the parts you will need are out there, in spite of it being 25 years old.
Second- these aren’t that tough, YOU can fix it.
Third- I replaced my Aquahot unit in my 96 with a rebuilt unit from AquaHot through Roger Berke (acting as a sales intermediary). I managed to freeze the fresh water coils the second year I had that coach, so I replaced it. This was roughly 15 years ago. The unit cost $7700 shipped to me. It’s a box with various connections. You disconnect everything, pull the old box, put in the new box and reconnect everything. It’s a very doable job.
When you freeze the fresh water coil that’s wrapped around the outside of the coolant “tank” that’s outside of the burner box, there are patch jobs that can be done. AquaHot (of course) recommends replacing the unit. I was unable to find a good heat conducting mastic to ensure good heat transfer from the coolant reservoir to the fresh water copper coil.
I have a Webasto unit in my current coach. It’s the same burner as the AquaHot, just different peripherals. I liked my AquaHot and actually wish I still had one. They just work well (typically

Morning Tyler,
Again, sorry for the issues you're having on the AH but you're doing good with working through each issue as they come up....keep up with the good work.
Lets look at the "its not doing anything but you do hear relays clicking". In the two images attached one is the fuse holder on the Aqua Hot itself and the other is the exact wiring diagram of the Becket mod installed on your coach (there are several copies in the white notebook you have). The 15amp & 10amp fuses "D" & "E" on the AH diagram are the same fuses on the Beckett Mod Diagram 15amp & 10amp. Those two fuses are the 12vdc source to the Beckett mod. If those are good then move on to the Beckett Controller as I stated above looking for your 12vdc.

Oh there's no need to apologize, I'm not upset about it at all, it's just part of it. I did check all of the fuses, including the ones on the back side of the genesis controller and they all checked out good. There was however, a distinct burning electrical smell coming out of one or bothe of the beckett units. Maybe they just got hot and it's nothing to be concerned about. I did cut a few of the zip ties holding the wiring harness together to try and trace some wires but didn't disconnect any of them. I was trying to trace one of the wires to the fuel solenoid because I getting continuance between it and several points on the terminal block.

I like Ty Wraps....Newell is the only people that use more of them than I do:-) A NOTE: If you have to order a new Beckett Controller pay attention to the 12vdc written on the face of the new unit. Beckett also has a 120vac unit that is half the cost of the DC unit. You want the 12vdc controller....don't ask how I know this.

Posting this while Tyler looks in the usual 12vdc places. Where does the Aquahot main 12vdc power block receive its power from?

Made some progress today. We ordered a new beckett controller and I was able to install it this evening. I'll have to do a little bit of rewiring because the wires on new unit are too short to reach all of the lugs on the terminal block, so it's just suspended with some zip ties, but we're back up and running!
I found that the old unit was supplying a constant 12v to the fuel solenoid, even with the the AH switched off, causing it to stay in the open position and continuously leak fuel. So, fingers crossed, that will solve the diesel leak issue and so far there isn't any sign of a fuel leak.
Thanks again for all the help!

Be prepared for some pretty good smoking when you fire it off for the first time. All that diesel in there will need to burn off then it should clear up.

Well it went down again last night. The motor came on like normal but it wasn't firing off. Gotta try and work on it again tonight.

Ty, Beckett makes a module that plugs into the controller that gives diagnostics and also allows some reprogramming. The module is not that expensive and may help with your trouble shooting. I have one that I would lend you, but it is back in Florida, and I am in Montana.

I just posted the first one I found on a quick search; there are probably other suppliers.
