Entry door will not open. There is no air in the lines, so I cannot release the air to open the door. The door seems to be sealed shut by the pressure inside the coach. Started the compressor from outside thinking it would build some air up in the lines, but that didn't work. Any suggestions? It's a 2008 Newell #1230.
Thank you

Are you saying that when you pulled the emergency door release you couldn't move the door? Is it locked with either exterior door lock?

The four interacting mechanisms that come to mind are:
(a) the air pressure valve located in the small electronics bay (front triangular bay under the driver's window on our front-entry 2008). It is a red knob actuated by turning clockwise or counterclockwise to the stop as indicated.
(b) the electric system (see post above - is it locked out by code or is there no power?)
© the mechanical door locks (I believe both must be unlocked for the door to open - my recollection is that each key turns top inward to unlock).
(d) the emergency release lever (mine is located in the first bay aft of the front entrance door on top of the forward wall - it is a red handle).
If it were me, I would do the following:
1. Ensure there is no air pressure to the door by turning the nob referenced in (a) to service (you will hear the air release if there is pressure). This is for safety and to prevent damage when you pull the emergency release (described below).
2. Unlock the mechanical locks ©
3. Pull the emergency release lever (d) and try to pull the door open with your fingers. If no joy, cycle one of the mechanical locks and repeat (2) until you have covered all four combinations to ensure both mechanical locks are unlocked.
4. Call Newell if none of the above works or if you cannot get access to the release lever and they may be able to advise you as to how to access that bay.
5. Please post to let us know your results so others can benefit.

My guess: The Blue wire Newell had you check is connected to the mercury switch on the bay door that the entry door interferes with when open. If that bay door is open it disables the entry door to protect both doors from damage. On the diagram I posted it is called "Compartment Door Stop Interlock Door Merc Switch". If that mercury switch was out of place or if there is a wiring open or short it would cause the problem you described. This first attachment with red arrows pointing at the wiring is .pdf , the second is Power Point and the third is Word. The PP and Word files are the same as the file in my January 1st post, I just included them for folks with those programs.

When I called Newell that said check the blue wire as well since everything else has not worked, but to me the wire looks and feels connected. I will let you know once I finally get it working.
Thank you,

glad you found it
what has me confused is that once you release the air in the door using the emergency air release in the bay next to the door then the door should be able to be opened if the mechanical locks on each side are not locked. ( i never lock them). the door will not open on its own when you release the air pressure, you have to grab the door and open it yourself when the air is released.
i have rebuilt the door cylinder and changed valves on it and unless something is different a relay would not stop the door from opening manually when the air is released.
