Propane boost
#1

I have been doing some research on propane boost to a Diesel engine. The pickup I am looking at is modified and in doing some research it seems to add 2-3 miles per gallon to your fuel milage because you burn 99% of the diesel instead of just over 8o%... Engine gurus. Any one considered doing it to the coach?

My previous classic 74' originally had propane boost, I think to overcome the fact that it was not turbocharged.

Marc, Did you end up doing this modification? I am also looking at doing this to our 1991, I've found kits as low as $500, but wanted to know if anyone had a specific product to recommend?

I don't know if Marc is still active in this forum. He has sold his coach 701. And I have this coach now. I don't think 701 has this modification.

Joe, Thank you for your reply. I've been doing more research on it, and after we get back from our festivals, I'm going to order the kit. I'll update with my results once I have some to share.

You might want to consider water injection, I use it on one of my turbo cars it's very effective and we have huge water tanks available so it might be a cheaper alternative and a little safer.

Howabout water and propane injection? Now that would be fun!

Is this the brown's gas injection? Otherwise you are going to need to educate me on this one.
