I've seen a number of Coaches from the 2000 year vintage range with wheels mounted at the rear of the frame to keep from dragging on inclines. I don't recall seeing these on newer coaches with the ZF suspension components. Just wondering if the chassis changed at the same time ZF was incorporated.

Dan,
I asked the factory about those wheelie bars and they said that they stopped doing that because the little wheels at the end could not support the weight and would just shatter. They like the skid bars better.
Did not really ask about the ZF suspension…but that is why there are only a few on Newells.
At least that is what I remember.

I do not have wheels but instead skid bars. Not sure if they would help if I put on the power and got the front tires off the ground in a drag race, but what the heck, they are there just in case

The 3 ZF coach I’ve had all had a roller on the bottom of the hitch. And she’ll drag

Alrighty then! I thought maybe the factory changed something when the new suspension was done. Sounds like that's a no.

1482 has a wheel. I'm trying to remember to flip the load transfer switch when I need more clearance. That adds air to the tag bags and lifts the rear a little.
