Newell Engines - Power to the People
#11

Simon is asking about a repower for a "friend" That is code for, "I am just about done with the interior of my coach" If anybody could pull off a repower, it would be him. Just love the energy and speed and quality he has for working on his Newell.

I also enjoy reading Simon's updates and wish I had his enthusiasm and energy.

Thanks guys! My 892 is in perfect health. I was just curious down the line. I have a bit invested in this so I would hate to think it would be done for if the engine went south while I was heading north! Paintwork would be next but prices are out of hand right now. Finished the detail work on the new bathroom ceiling. I am really happy how it came out. Waiting on upholstery shop to finish the headboard, air vent trims, window shade side valances and some other small stuff. I am getting there! toilet room turned out pretty decent too. Wall paper could have been better, but it is acceptable for now and I will keep pressing forward. I have some cabinet parts and closet cove trims in repair with glued laminate edges and clamps. Each day is another part being glued back to its former glory. I use Roo Glue laminate adhesive. Love that stuff! (Takes a bit longer than tite bond but I feel it is an excellent adhesive for older laminate.

Glad to hear you are pleased with your C-12.  I know that coach 714 (a 2004) had the same engine as yours.  Yours is one of only a few Newells with the C-12.  Coach 723, 742 and 752 (all 2005's) used the C-13 and 728 had a C-15.
