Your truck is about a 10th of the weight of your coach so should not be too much difference. We have towed all different kinds of cars/trucks/SUVs/trailer with cars on them and have not seen too much difference in MPG.

Well, keep in mind I have the 2 stroke 8v92. It comes out of the gate as a pig on diesel!

Our 1983 has he same running gear as your 1993. We pull an enclosed trailer with our Geo Tracker inside along with lots of 'stuff". The trailer with toys scales out at 10 K. We have a ginormous fuel tank (tanks) with a capacity of 485 gallons. The tag on the engine says it i tuned to 475 hp. We average 5 mpg, but for some reason this year we have averaged 6. I think this is because the engine had an out of chasis rebuild 40 thousand miles ago, and is now broken in. Before we bought the trailer 4 years ago, our mileage ws about the same. Diesel is one of the smaller expenses in our annual budget. Enjoy your coach.

Thats awesome mileage for what you tow. I am intrigued by your fuel capacity. Did you add a second tank or did your coach get built that way?

We really wish it had a smaller capacity. We are told the original owner commisioned several Newells in the 80's. I gues he did not like to fuel up often. The bigest drawback is the lost belly space, and having to carry at least a half tank of diesel to avoid condensation and rust.

Interesting. I guess living in AZ, I didn't think about condensation. The benefits of a larger tank give you the option to "fuel shop" the best price. My bus has so much underfloor space a larger tank wouldn't be a burden other than the added weight. Might help keep the wife's excessive clothes storage to a minimum! I have a 314 gallon capacity between the two tanks.
