Aquor Water System Valve Installation
#1

I’m installing a new product from Aquor Water System in the water bays. My first change is in the curb side AquaHot/Waste dump bay that also has a water tank fill port.

I’m replacing this fitting.

This is the new fitting.

I used a knockout tool used in electrical work to enlarge the hole where the new valve mounts. I also drilled three new holes for mounting screws.

The rest of the install is straight forward.

No more messing around with the traditional hose ends.

I plan on replacing the fittings on the driver side water bay and modify my “City Water” inlet connector.
I’m also adding valves that will be used to rinse out the waste tank and ThetFord Macerator.

Check the system out at:

     aquorwatersystem.com

Take care,
JK

Does it have a built in check valve? You will need one on the city water in.

I’m waiting on the valves they sent me. It might have the check valve or I’ll leave the existing one installed.

Your coach may be plumbed differently than mine. On mine the city water in line is pressurized if my 120 pump is on.

Here’s my city water connector.

Here’s what is being sent to me. I’ll use one of them as a test.

Here’s the hose connector.

They arrive tomorrow.

Swapped out the hose connector for the new Aquor connector. It does have a valve that is closed when the blue Aquor adaptor is not inserted.

I’ve contacted Aquor to see if they have a protective cover.

When I use the system I’ll report back.

Take care, JK

Reporting back…
The Aquor valves work nicely to deliver water to the Coach… fill the water tank…. fill the water tank… flood the RV spot…

I thought the “orifice” was blocked and when I disassembled, yes it had buildup. I cleaned it up and put it back together and turned on the water. Flooded the spot… again… time for more research?

I’ve had no problems with them. Quality products.
Other items on the bus have delayed other mods I had planned with the Aquor valves.
Once I continue the mods I’ll post updates.

I will say that keeping the connectors you replace with the Aquor is prudent and having extra Aquor parts on hand is a good idea because they’re not readily available.
