So I have been in the fix it phase which just may be always lol, I was concerned that my air assist dump hose was inop. so I called drain master to get an idea on what could be the issue. I told the sales person that I had a leaking hose, she tells me the system will not work without and air tight system.
The P.O. removed the original green hose maybe cause it was bad, anyway they cut the old system apart and purchase some of the low end dump hose and made it fit. So my brand new hose assembly arrives today and I disassemble the crappy hose. The new hose fittings will not fit through the cylinder in the tank that runs from the driver to pass side to where the hose actually connect too!
I love the Newell but I am starting to wonder if they ever expected anyone other than themselves to work on it. This should be a very easy task! Now Im stuck and will have to wait until monday to figure out why???????

Had a bad hose in my coach and replaced the whole system with 3” pvc. Bought a threaded to pvc coupler to screw into the dump valve, a 90 degree elbow and a bayonet fitting for the end to attach hose to along with enough straight pipe to complete. Pretty simple to do as all the materials were about $35. Cannot imagine a hose leaking in the bay and trying the get the smell out. This has worked for me and I have had no problems with it. I also disconnected the power to the hose switch to reel the sewer hose back in.

Well silly me wanted to put it all back to OEM, lol, lol.
I really just wanted to work. Looks like my macerator is gonna get installed after all.
I really don't see this working unless they sent the wrong hose, but the male threaded part is exactly the same size as the one i pulled off.

I can’t tell from the pictures. Would the hose, minus the fitting, pass through the opening?

Yes it will, but according to Drain Master Inc.
The air assist system requires the hose assembly
to be airtight. If I cut the end off and try to reattach the hose ill be right back where I started, a non air assist system.
I'm trying to do the right thing but ill hopefully here back from Newell and Drain Master on why the issue.
I'm actually starting to think maybe Newell had to install the system the best they could and cut the hose off too???
I will update when I figure it out on Monday.
As I stated in an earlier post maybe its time to move on from this fifteen year old system anyway.

A ha !, then I would be looking very carefully at either end of the hose to deconstruct the hose from the end. It was put together, so it can be taken apart.
Are the wires in the hose spiral wound, or radial. If spiral wound, then try unscrewing it from the fitting.

Soooo after talking to Newell on the hose issue I found out from them that they modified the Drain Master hose in order to get the system to work. They cut the ends off and used in my opinion an inferior hose which is pretty filmy. Anyway the bottom line is I have to either re-do the same setup as Newell or just install a macerator system as I have been planing to do.
My other option is to utilize the macerator system off the curb side and keep the dump hose on the dump bay side. I really need the curb side system when we go to our favorite park, the dump hose is a pain while there so I guess I'll do both!

One of the first things I did was to get rid of the drainmaster. Way too many moving parts for something that can be so simple.
I carry the portable turbo macerator in a storage box; it is too big to keep in the bay for the couple of times a year that we need it. As a bonus, since it is separate, it can be easily installed on either dump port, with standard bayonet fittings on both sides.

I agree, but since mine never worked I'm just going to keep it in place, when home i use the slinky stinky, when on the road I plan on using my not yet installed macerator system, called clean dump. We had one on our previous coach.
