Hi all!
We've been gathering information for our next life adventure for almost two years now. There's been a ton of self education as well as the chance to come across some really great people.
We're close to purchasing our very first (and certainly last) RV. We were originally leaning towards Country Coaches, but walked into a 2007 Newell and new this was something special.
We're hoping to purchase this year, and have found some coaches come close to covering not only our "must haves" but our "would be really nice."
I've learned a ton about Newells...and have become somewhat addicted (seems to be a popular affliction!).
We live in S. CA (take a guess where), and hope for several more years of long weekends and trips to visit the kids in college....then taking months to seeing the USA.
So right now, color me a "Newell - wanna be" owner.
Greetings to all!
Mark

the wave is simple. just smile and wave at folks. as for the handshake, it is just a firm grip and a hearty welcome.
my kids have always laughed at me for waving at everyone when i am driving. my son-in-law has just started racing stock cars and i am his pit crew (not a very good one, but free). a week or so ago we were at the track and i wondered off visiting with other racers. then my grandkids joined me and soon they were sitting in this high end sprint car having their pictures taken. my daughter laughed and said that i could make friends with a treestump.
to me everyone is a friend or potential friend and that is the way i feel about the friends i have made on this and other forums.
the best part of having the newell is the fellowship with all of you.
happy thursday

I've been active on iRV2 and Tom happened to post a reply that included a link to this site (though stupid me, it took me a while to realize it was a link! I thought initially he was boasting that he knew a lot about Newells! LOL)

I must have missed the notification - what caused it to happen? I did notice that the Newell Classic site went through a major redo. Are you all off that site?
I've been pretty occupied (hence my slow realizations on-line). My daughter is a H.S. Senior. Between her going being severely rear-ended in January (totalled a 4 month old MB wagon) and visiting 12 college campuses...I've had my hands full!
So happy to have found all of you!
