We are now in Zephyrhills, FL headed out tomorrow for Ft. Meyers for a few days with TLE's relatives, then on to the Keys. Really enjoying changing our view every few days again.......love Florida this time of year. Stayed 3 days at Fruitland Park (near Leesburg) for $13 total. Staying here in Zephyrhills for $16/day at a nice park.....courtesy parking for the next 4 days, then on to Marathon Key for 5 days at $35/day (half price). Average cost per day for this 14 day stretch is $15......pretty cheap daily rent, huh?

Not bad, beats our $22/day here at Silver springs.
But tomorrow we stay at our 1st Harvest Host! Free!
They sell mini-goats there, told Cindy we should get one. That would open a few eyes when we walk it each morning.
But hey, they don't bark.

Goats, I have a very funny story I'll have to tell you one day. We inherited a crazy goat once, and had a crazy black lab.

We are now in Palmetto Bay, FL, on the east coast......crossed Alligator Alley yesterday.....no alligator sightings however. We are now poised to make our run out to the Florida Keys....specifically Marathon Key where we have a reservation. From there we'll make a run down to Key West....can't believe it's already the middle of February. Humidity is high here in front of an advancing front.....will cool way down tomorrow (Thursday) accompanied by slightly lower humidity....anything lower than 100% will be welcomed!

Haven't updated here in a while.....spent 5 days in the Keys. Moved up north to Stuart where we spent 8 days with a good friend courtesy parking, then up to St. Augustine for 5 days, and now we are just south of Savannah, GA courtesy parking on the property of friends we met in Cedar Key so many weeks ago. We spent 66 days in Florida, and loved our time there. We'll move up to Savannah in a few days and probably spend a week to 10 days there. Under the weather right now.....first time I've had a cold in years.
