It's kind of slow, because of the holiday, so I thought I would start a thread on the top ten favorite coach mods.

Here are mine:

1. Three way toggle switch to activate jake brakes off of accelerator or brake pedal
2. Treadle style air brake pedal
3. External contactors for AC compressors
4. Solid surface flooring
5. Combination style door lock
6. 365 Front tires
7. Aluminum  Coolant Expansion Tank
8. Air Ride Drivers Seat for Passenger side
9. LED Headlights with relays
10. Direct Drive Generator Blower

And looking at the other lists reminded me:

Rear Sway Bar

Which aluminum tank did you use. My CRS 300is leaking at the bottom seam.

Changing all of the HOT halogen puck lights to LEDs. There were over 70, yes I counted twice, and my neck was sore for weeks! But what a big difference it made.

Wayne,

Good to hear from you.

Look at this thread. @"rheavn" was the finder of the maker. I didn't polish mine.

Richard,
What specs did you send for fabrication of the aluminum overflow tank?
My CRS 300 is starting to leak even more.

Do you happen to remember where and maybe part numbers that you replaced with LED's?  I want to replace ours and was wondering if you might share some info on them please?

Thanks

I used these after trying several others. Like Tom mentioned you need to remove the inner reflector and the small plastic spacer on the two electrodes.
I also trimmed the electrodes by about 1/4 inch.

Pam there are hundreds of suppliers of these G4 card type leds on eBay. Recently I got a few of these 5 watt COB leds to try and they fit and work well. The 5 watt are about the same size as the halogen but the 6 watt are too big:

FYI, the modules on the Amazon link above specifically state that they are not dimmable, so you definitely will not want to use those in places where you have a dimmer knob.
