I had a couple of reels of strip LED lighting left over from other projects so I decided to install it in between the valance and the curtains in the salon area of the coach. I also installed a dimmer on it. Here are the pictures. I love how it came out....took a couple of hours. The 3rd picture (left to right) is with dimmer on full blast, and the 4th picture is about 40%.

I've been wanting to add LED's to the front like yours, but I have a different config that will not work right. My bedroom valance is like yours & I added the Leds some time ago.
I also have chnaged to a remote LED controller that I was using on motorcycles.
Have used them for over 2 years without problems

where did you get the reels of the led lights? Do they have a 3m type adhesive on on them? I'm starting to look around to mount them under my coach.
Got them on Amazon....yes, they have a backing that you peel off, and then just press them against the surface you are mounting them on. There are about 27' of strip lighting here, and the amp meter did not even register 1 amp at 100% on the dimmer switch.

if you mean under your coach, like outside, then the ones that clarke has are not the right ones. you can get water resistant ones that are encapsulated in clear something. they are a little bit more but not a lot.
not sure how they would hold up under the coach exposed to rain splash etc.
they are cheap enough where you could try and be out not much

I've got a couple of reels of waterproof LED's I ordered by accident. I'm going to see if there is a way to mount them just under the coach between the front and rear wheels facing down on the passenger side. Haven't gotten as far as actually investigating whether there is a suitable surface to mount them on. I think they will add a little night time ambiance when we are outside.
