Most of the guru crowd has pimped the coach in one way or another to address a permanent fix, correct a design flaw, or simply add customization. It's kind of slow, because of the holiday, so I thought I would start a thread on the top ten favorite coach mods.
Here are mine:
1. Three way toggle switch to activate jake brakes off of accelerator or brake pedal
2. Treadle style air brake pedal
3. External contactors for AC compressors
4. Solid surface flooring
5. Combination style door lock
6. 365 Front tires
7. Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank
8. Air Ride Drivers Seat for Passenger side
9. LED Headlights with relays
10. Direct Drive Generator Blower

PM me if you need more details. I will be at coach tomorrow and can measure if that will help you. Essentially it is a box covered in Formica (black) attached directly to wall. (We removed two mirror tiles to make room for box). I took tiles to the glass shop and had them cut down to match the others. The coffee machine is attached to the box.
The reason we didn’t just cut a big hole in the wall is there are pipes going up that wall and we didn’t want to interfere with them.
My modifications -
1- Replace propane fridge with larger all electric
2- Modify angle of fuel pedal do as to be more comfortable
3- Build foot rest behind fuel/ brake pedals to be able to stretch out my legs
4- Install King Cruise control when original died
5- Replace front tube TV with flat screen with swing up mount to allow access to cabinets on either side
6- Build DVD storage behind new flat screen TV
7- Add a 3 gallon coolant recovery tank
8- Installed a Bostrom air ride driver's seat (the 'back cycler' is AWESOME! )
9- Up grade kitchen faucet
10- Replace valence lights with LED
Fortunately, I haven't modified any of the paint work or body panels with fixed obstacles . . . . yet.
I hope to put that off as long as possible. ;^)
My modifications that seemed important at the time
1. Switched oil to Rotella synthetic and doing oil testing to reduce oil changes
2. Switched engine coolant to a lifetime NOAT type.
3. Replaced the finned air dryer with a Bendix desiccant type - no water in any of the tanks since.
4. Mounting the front TV on drawer slides so it moves to allow the doors on either side to open.
5. Installed seat belts at the dining booth to keep the kiddies safer.
I've focused much more on getting things working properly and reliably than altering them since I've owned the 93 coach. That focus is subject to change without notice.
1. Removed all of the rear lounge, six of the eight bunks, the toilet room, the dining booth, and the kitchenette. (driver , passenger seats and couch are still in original position.
1a. Removed all walls from mid coach to the rear.
2. Built new rear bedroom, moving the wall forward 12" and including pocket doors.
3. New bathroom vanity , shower, and moved the toilet to a more convenient location.
4. Built new kitchen cupboards incorporating the drawer "catches" that Newell uses, new corian counter top.
(All built with 3/4" A-1 11 ply wood and Laminated with Wilsonart that matches the color and texture of the original and fastened to shell with aluminum tabs riveted in just as Newell originally built it.
5. Installed Fisher and Pakel dishwasher.
6. Built desk in between refrigerator and the couch.
7. Redid the vinyl ceiling just as Newell originally installed front to back.
8. New luxury vinyl plank flooring.
9. Updated the HWH air leveling manifolds.
10. New Xantrex invertor/charger.
11. (bonus) Installed on board water filter and softener.
