After replacing the generator back into the coach one of the water hoses rubbed cracked and was leaking coolant. Replaced the hose and then had an air lock..the way we finally got it to release was to Crack the butterfly valve on top of the thermostat housing. Let the water level in the reservoir drop then top it back off and crack the valve again. Repeat approximately 20 times until water flowed from butterfly valve.

Are you talking about the heater hoses from the main engine to the dash heater?

No this was on my generator, the line that connected from the top of the fill tank on the generator
