We had 15 spots reserved. Wonder if I should not call my gal and get 15 more? Earlier it was suggested that we arrange spots in age order of coach. Do you want me to have her do that maybe a month before we arrive? So re-assign spots based on age of coach.
I prefer leaving the lots as we have made our reservations. Some people want to be parked next to someone else. Differently ask for more spaces. Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to every one.

In the space just right of the coach photos on the header put something like:
Join us in the Black Hills Guru Rally
June 27-29, 2013
Reserve your spot soon
Hope to see you there!
It could then be linked to an informational post that gives all particular details.
As an additional idea, what about sending an invitation to all members of the Guru site.
These are just ideas of how to increase exposure--if they are not doable or will not work just disregard them.

I will leave reservation spots the way they are. I just recalled someone suggesting that. I will send them a message though and see if we can hold another 15 spots and see what length of time they would do this for.

I don't know how big we want to encourage this to become. Maybe I'm being selfish, but I kind of like the small gatherings. We are now way beyond any previous mini-rally attendance, and we've got six months to go almost exactly. I'm not saying put a cap on it, but do we want to advertise more than we have? I think word of mouth, and this website have done a pretty good job of getting the word out. Too many people and we will have to start getting more organized, and who wants that?

I concur, Clarke. At some point, you start losing the ability to make new friends and spend quality time with old friends. I am excited about the rally and think it is a good size for the type of event we are trying for.

If we're voting, then I agree with Clarke and Michael. I have made lasting friendships from attending the Creede rally and hope to meet more new friends. Besides, when I retired I gave up "being organized".

Many people are going to spend a week in Spearfish. That should give everyone time to get to know others. I will be surprised if there is not some cancellations due to family issues, health issues and other unforeseen issues. I don't see any problem with a group of up to twenty coaches. Every Newell owner brings some special talent that I find enjoyable.
It just seems to me that any Newell owner or Guru member should be made to feel welcome.
