OTA TV and Satellite Antenna

So if I put 12volts to the green white (assuming that is the green and white striped wires) then the antenna should move up/down?

So where is the power supply located for the Braund antenna? Is that what the 12-volt cigarette plug is for?

IIRC, there was 12V coming into the Braun controller from the chassis.

The cig lighter is part of the antenna signal booster. Those are/were common in RVS as a 12v powered signal booster. Almost all of them had a cig lighter because a lot of 12V RV based TVs used a cig lighter plug in for power.

So, if you can't find 12v at the braun controller by using your voltmeter, you can find it coming into the antenna booster by using your voltmeter.

Thanks Richard. I tried adding 12-volt using a DC power supply but not sure 3-5 amps is enough to power the antenna. I'm planning to get a decent ladder this week to get on the roof.

You should have 12v at the braun controller. It came from the factory that way or it wouldn't have ever worked. Confirm you do have 12v with voltmeter before concluding the motor is flummoxed.
