Thanks Steve.
I used this along with Creslie's help to clean the screens on my shower control.
The stream had gradually weakened, now it is really strong.
When you get into the guts you pull out the check valves, left is hot and right is cold.
Both had a build up on the screens of white sandy grit, with a lot more on the hot side.
Next, I will pull the Aquahot tempering valve and clean the orifice. Creslie guaranteed
I would find more there.

If you can find a new tempering valve, it may just be easier to replace the guts. Newell cleaned mine, and a week later it broke...By the time you go to the trouble of pulling the burner, the cost of the valve is small in comparison. The guts of the valve just unscrew from the housing.

Richard,
Have you replaced your Grohe shower control? Jeff is thinking that we have a problem with the thermostat. Has anyone had any issues with this? He took it apart last year and cleaned all the screens and they are all clean this time? We had a problem with keeping hot water coming thru the shower.
Thanks,
Pam
