as of the morning of may 10th,

the ruidoso motor coach ranch we are staying at for the rally has 4 spots left. so if you are thinking you are coming, please call and make reservations now if you have not already. it is a small park with 28 sites and as of right now we have 21 of them reserved for the rally.

I just got word from the park owner that they just booked the 26th site for Gurus. they only have 28 sites total and 2 of them are reserved for folks that are not part of our rally.

i would encourage you to put yourself on a backup list if you are still interested as there might be a few that have to cancel at last minute.

Goon news, should be a great rally. Tom, will they let us make a few repairs? I need Rudy to repair my Aqua-Hot which needs a high heating element replaced.

I fixed the owner's heater when they were in Houston. They even remember me. They are really looking forward to the Newell rally.

i talked to the rv park, and they are ok with us tinkering. just no oil changes or engine swap outs or tranny rebuilds.

seriously, they are being very flexible. this is a very classy park and they just want us to respect it. i assured them there would be no issues.

so we are ok.

i will do a short discussion on the hwh leveling valve rebuild kits i have been making.

in addition, i am bringing a couple of boxes of spare parts (mostly from forest) for swapping or giving away.

if you have extra parts or want to trade or give away, i will have a time to have a "swap meet" for parts.
