it rained last nite and most of the day.  so a good day to work inside.  the electrician came mid morning and he and his helper installed 21 ceiling lights, some switches and the cb panel cover.  


he used my scissors lift and was ever grateful he didnt have to do it on a ladder or scaffold.  


i am using a fixture that has a mirror finish reflector, and is 6 bulbs that are T5HO 5k kelvin.  so a total of 47,000 lumens each and i have 21 of them (567k lumens).  i like the white light they put out. i have put the same 5k bulbs in my wifes sewing room and it lights up like an operating room over her cutting table. 


the 16 switches are 4 variable speed fan switchs, 6 for the ceiling lights,  4 (one for each of the 4 sides of the building for flood lights) and the man door light and the carriage lights on each side of the garage doors.  the flood lights on the side of the rv pad are 3way so they can be turned on and off from inside or at an outdoor switch.  the rear floods are 3way as well and are controlled from the inside at the front and the rear man doors.  


i cant wait till i get power so i can see how these babies light up the inside.

What is the first project to be accomplished once the shop is completed?

i suspect it will take me till summer to get the shop all set up the way i want.

but...once i get the lift in, i need to get after doing a bunch of maint. on my cars and truck.

before i go to the rally, i need to fix my slide creep and coolant issue. i will bring the newell over here next month and have it in the front yard.

well,  it is getting close.  i installed the toilet today and did the breakin in of it.

they are still working on painting the outside.  

once they are done ( sat or mon) i will start installing the outside lights.  

then just grading and time for final.
