Dropping the coach for a re power
#1

Left last night from WI headed to Pierce City MO to drop off the coach for a re power.
Pulled in for a few hours of sleep at a truck stop in Paris, MO.
The 903 is running ok, but smoking a bit more than usual, so far so good, less than 3 hours to go after breakfast is over.Big Grin

Made it, we're on the way back north.
I don't need it back until March, it should be 100-150 hours worth of work to pull the donor rv apart and get it transplanted into mine.

I'll see what I can get for pictures, I live 500 miles away, I'm not sure how much I will see until it's done.

Next time it hits the road it will have an 8.3 Cummins and a 6 speed.Big Grin

Great you made it, are you planning on using anything else from the donor coach other than powertrain? Any interior goodies or electrical upgrade bonuses?

Made home around 11 last night, long day.
The donor interior is in good shape, it has a few other things that I'll use; leather driver and passenger seats and window awnings.
Any other parts I'm hoping to sell rather than crush and send to landfill with the remnants of the body: AC, couch, hot water heater, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer combo unit, leather swivel recliner, etc.
I have a few guys interested in some parts here at home, I just have to figure out if it's worth the time to remove and haul back.
