Sorry Wanderlodge! Hello Newell !!!!
#1
Thumbs Down

After searching for a Wanderlodge for several months my wife and I met a couple who owned a 80 model Newell. We changed our search towards a Newell immediately. Finally after a 4 month search we acquired an 1982 model from a nice couple from Florida. She needs a little TLC but by springtime she should look glorious.

We actually looked @ a couple Wonderlodge's - was getting ready to book a flight to look @ another, but it sold. Then somehow stumbled across a Newell - bought it and have been impressed ever since.

Well our deal with the Newell fell thru. After looking at her a little more closely she was plagued with major problems. After I got her cranked up she was bellowing white smoke. 3 of the 4 air bags wouldn't hold air for air suspension etc, etc. After leaving for a 5 hour ride home discouraged I asked the wife to browse trader.com for another Newell. Sometimes things happen for a reason. There was a Newell for sale in our price range 30 miles from our home. 2 years newer 1984 model#37 with 50,000 less miles in near mint condition. We are meeting on Wednesday to work out logistics of the sale. Sweet!

Tony,
Welcome aboard the Newell train! There are a great group of folks here, and we are backed up by a great group of guys at the factory. I hope that the second deal works!

Cheers,
bill
