Most rallys end up with a few help one another projects. I am trying to decide what kind of tools and supplies to bring. For example, I usually carry my air con gauge sets but not necessarily big jugs of r22 or r134a. If you think you need AC work, then speak up.

Also, I just made a new slide out awning because my old one was ripped. In doing sew, I ended up with a sewing machine that does heavy fabric and upholstery. Does anyone need to borrow the sewing machine?

What kinds of issues do you expect the guru gang to converge on during the rally? I am just curious what the week may entail?

If you could check the charge on my dash air conditioner I'd be very much appreciative. Don't know if it will need freon or not.
When I was at Newell last year I had them replace one of the basement a/c compressors and while doing that they ran charge connections out of the case to make it easier to check the charge. A nice thing to have if you do any work on them.
Oh another thing. I'm not sure how to polish my wheels. So if anyone would like to do a demonstration on my wheels? I think I'd like about 6 differing opinions....

I would love to tie off my buddy plug and add a second 50 amp plug on the back of the coach. I would never use both at the same time but an additional one would be nice for the stacker.

Getting you wheels done properly requires an acid bath to etch the surface and then you need a grey clay bar, buffer and about an hour a wheel. Bring the acid and bar and I will be happy to give you a very dirty hands demonstration.

I have found a guy in Gregory, Tx, that has modified an oil field formula to remove the surface corrosion by hand. No acid, no buffer but some good rubbing. Once the corrosion is gone, a mirror shine is left.

I will have some with me at the lake.

I won't be there sorry. I sure would like to know what that cleaner is my wheels are aluminum and very dull. Need something to make them shine if possible.

Plus call Gord for instructions which are on the website too. There is a right way which includes using steelwool and a red shop rag he supplies. Steelwool helps with the rubbing and plan on two passes to get the mirror shine.
