I have a 1987 #146 and the led indicator that shows what gear your tranny is in has some burnt out segments in 4th and neutral only.I took the part to an electronics repair shop and they could not find a replacement led module.
The numbers on the circuit board are P/N 21445,S/N 091809
Has anyone ran into this problem ?

Thats weird, the link worked yesterday. Your shifter is a bennett air shifter correct? They still have parts for these. I had the same one in my 87. Ill dig around a little more...

Last year, my gear indicator would only show one or two segments when I would shift into reverse. I was having trouble getting the transmission to change gears manually so Newell rebuilt the air shifter. When they finished, the gear indicator would display properly as well as fixing the manual shifting. Recently, the gear indicator is doing the same thing it was before although the manual shifting is fine. The reason I bring this up is that it may be a connection issue rather than a gear indicator issue. This is especially true since the segments that do not light up in R do light up in other gears so the segments themselves are not burned out.
