Tom, not knowing of this guy, I purchased a sight tube from Newell about 2 months ago and they were $60.00 including the cap and the black rubber hose with hose clamps attached.

Steve, the one that broke had a tapered end to it and the one I got from Newell did not. Just like it was cut off. Why tapered I don't know. I don't know why any clear hose wouldn't work with a cap one it. One could use the cap you already have. Why not go to the hardware store and buy a clear plastic hose. I think it will work just as well.

steve i dont know. mike said he had to work it to get it to fit the clamps and such.

what i dont know is if the inside diameter makes any difference.

If all they need is the clear polycarbonate tubing and this stuff is the same I'll be getting 6' and only need 12". I should have this by the 10th. I'll let you know if it is the same & works ok.
