No, cannot swim right off the beach here at Boyds Campground, mostly for boat launching. Beaches are a short distance away by bicycle or car. C'mon down.

I think we are I just called the office, waiting for a return call.. Are the ocean front spots the best? We are probably not pulling a car down.. Heard you don't need it.. Is that correct?

Boyd's is about 3 miles from downtown area. But you can use a taxi or rent a scooter. And not sure if any water sites are available. But there are other sites available.
