OK, I've owned a Newell a year this month and if I own one for the next 10 years I will no doubt be learning something about them until that time.
Forest, my thermostat is a PSG Signature and it has high , low for air and I thought that was the fan only. I pulled the owners manual out and it is like you said. High both compressors and low air one. I have always been on 50 amp so have not thought much about it. This will give me more freedom as to where I can stay as long it is not 100 degrees outside.

Tom, when it is 100 degrees here in E. Texas the humidity is usually 90% or even maybe 100%. No moderate balmy here.

yea, 100 degrees here is not a big deal. especially when it still cools off at nite. the real summer challenge is in late june, july and august when it is 100-115 and still hot at night. but...most of the time humidity is in the 10 percent range.
but the rest of the year makes up for it. after being in canada in march when it was 55 below zero, i have concluded that i can deal with the heat....

Probably electric Aqua Hot will not. Aqua Hot has a 110 and 220 heating element. I wander if the 1500 watt 110 will work on 30amps. What do you say about this Rudy?

Sorry but we don't do 100 Degrees! I am very happy up here with 50's and 60's heck all of the snow has melted!

Chappell,
The way Newell has wired the AH only the 1650 watt 120 vac element will work on 30 amp service. The 1650 watt element draws between 13 and 14 amps or about half of the available service.
