Michael,
Do you remember when Newell changed to the new style dashboard? Seems like it was somewhere in the '94-'96 range.

I think it was in 96. Seems like Ron & Express 1 have 96's, one with the early and one with the late. My 97 has the late style.

I saw Skeen's & Russo's coaches and now I remember one did have an early dash & one had the new style. I saw the '96 on EBAY & was surprised it had the early dash--looks like the change came in mid '96. Thanks................

It was sometime after #422 mine and before Russo # . Also I do not think any 96's had slide. The first slides were in 97. Also above the dash the cabinet change in the #422 was curved earlier model were straight across.

I've got a question for Michael Day.
Does Steve Magown have the FIRST Newell with a slide? I think it is, but I just want to know for sure. His is #458.

CORRECTION!
Coach 437 (Express1) does have the newer Dash setup! However I'm not so sure the function is better!!

It look's cool. No place for computor, coffee cup and lots of other junk! Also the dump bottom is easy to get to when someone is following too close.

the dash on my 2002 looks really cool. feels like a cockpit. having said that, the dash and center console on my 90 is much more functional and easier to use.
