water getting into compartment
#1

howdy,

whenever it rains, i get a lot of water in the small bay in front of the drive wheel on the passenger side. when i was at steve and suzy's we looked to see if it was leaking from the mid bath sink above it, but it wasnt.

seems to be just when it rains. but it gets soaking wet in there.

anyone had anything similar? i may replace the gasket, but it appears ok.

very puzzling.

That should not be a problem....Rain in Phoenix?
How about the shower pan?

I know obvious, but the marker lights above are notorious leakers

yea, it rained 1.5 inches on friday. doesnt rain much but when it does, it soaks that bay. and there is carpet in it. when we were on our trip in july it got wet when it rained as well.

i was wrong. it is not located in front of the drive wheels, it is the first one behind the tag. and there are no marker lights over it. and i have replaced the marker lights with led ones and siliconed them in.

i will try resealing the gasket.

thanks

Mine used to get wet when it rained too. I solved the problem by adding some thin adhesive weatherstripping inside the piano hinge. I also put some of the same adhesive weatherstripping along the top edge after removing the edge protector Newell put on the aluminum inside the door. My bay is now water free.
