Hey Forest,
There are 5 or 6 rest areas along I-70 from the CO. line to Salina where you turn south on I-135 some of them have a circle just before you leave that you can pull into and park for the night. It's a little bit away from the main parking area, so not as much noise. I don't know if the rest areas on 135 allow
overnight parking or not. There is also a rest area on between Beaumont and Severy on 400, I think it allows overnight parking. We've stayed in Russel, KS. at the Triple "J" RV Park. It's hard getting into the park and then it's hard driving inside the park, the pull thrus were OK. 50 amps etc. The price wasn't bad. I hope this helps.
