Fixing a Black Tank crack

Loctite makes a “hard to glue” plastics glue. It works quite well on polyethylene. I used it on my previous coach’s fresh tank drain fitting that was originally spun welded.

Lowe’s and Home Depot in my area both carry it. It does specifically state polyethylene in it’s list of plastics it glues.


I did remove the tank and completely break the fitting free (very easily done) to reglue it entirely.
