A HUGE shout out to Tom for coming to my rescue!!  I was able to figure out the shower and will breath a sigh of relief when the shower is back together.

Oh Wow!  I just looked at your pictures and it's just like mine.  Went right to your link on eBay and there they were.  Ordered the connectors and also ordered the top plastic/rubber piece which goes in the channel.

Received the parts and was able to put everything together.  The straight connector (see below) worked fine on both ends, even though the right hand one had a slight bend.  The top plastic rail needed a bit of coaxing with silicone spray and warming with a hairdryer.  Still not very confident in the durability of the white-metal connectors; planning to get a 3D printed copy using some stronger material like a reinforced nylon or carbon fiber.

THe upper plastic "rail" went in the channel with a little coaxing, warming with a hair dryer and a bit of silicone spray.
