The cruise airs on my Wanderlodge all use a TXV valve (thermal expansion valve), so they are rather forgiving when it comes to different gas. I was converting all mine from R22 to R407c and knock on wood they have run just fine. The TXV's are easy, they meter the refrigerant required at the evaporator so all they really need is to be flooded with refrigerant, its not like a fixed orifice tube which requires the refrigerant level to be more exact to operate properly.
