Attaching a photo is easy, IF you have the photo on the internet. Otherwise, you will need to set up a gallery on this site (click on Gallery on the line directly under the header photos on this page), upload your photo or photos to the gallery then, using the New Reply button rather than the Quick Reply, you get a detailed menu that includes an icon for pictures that allows you to enter the web address of the photo.
