Why does someone want to use 6V batteries on a 12V vehicle?
Theoretically, you can make it work by combining 2x 6V batteries to make one 12V, and then you have to deal with the wiring and modification of the battery trays.
I believe battery trays on all Newell coaches are designed to take 8D-sized batteries. And the size of two 6V batteries seems larger than one 8D battery.
Lifeline 6V: 261mm L x 181 mm W x 260 mm H (10.27 X 7.12 X 10.24)
Standard 8D 12V: 527mm L x 280 mm W x 254 mm H (21″x11″x10″)
