I believe some details have slipped through the cracks. For the benefit of anyone stumbling on this in the future, I'll try to summarize (please let me know/correct me where wrong):
- Prior to removing the slide-out, you will remove the interior valence (top).
- With the valence removed, you will expose the limit switches located in the center. Remove those.
- With the valence removed, you will expose the wire chain carrier, it will be adjacent to the edge, either forward/aft.
- The wires don't have a disconnect; one would need to be added. Anderson makes very reliable, high-current disconnects that are the most standard for this purpose.
Tom - Unrelated to this topic, quick question..
Since moving the server, I haven't been able to cite usernames, for example @encantotom won't become linked/cited. This could be coincidence or something on my side, but thought it couldn't hurt to mention. Thank you.
