It depends on what your going to do on your trips. I have a long bed F350 4x4 or a short bed F150 that rides smoother, also at times, I tow an enclosed trailer for my wife's car or antique cars that I don't want damaged from being exposed to the environment. I will tell you that it takes more planning for trips with enclosed trailer. I prefer not to disconnect the enclosed trailer, so finding 80' sites are few and far between.
