Tank rinse system re-repair

Looks like the proper way is to spin weld on a new bung.... Wow, the spin weld fittings are cheap but the welding attachment (drill, router, etc) is pricey for a single repair.

I did find:

G/Flex 655 Epoxy

Allegedly this will work on our tanks.. Still looking for additional information.

I have a plastic welder already (connect air supply, electric heating element)

Access is pretty tight in there as well. This is the top fitting on the curb side. In my coach it's in the aquahot bay. I may have already posted a picture or two here.
