A less expensive option to the SilverLeaf Electronics VMSpc is the BlueFire adapter for Motorhomes
The VMSpc is $395 and requires a Windows PC, BlueFire is $190 and will work on your smartphone to verify your temperature gauge alone, or works with Apple, Android, or Windows 10.
I don't have a 90's S60, but I believe it does not come with a standard J1939 diagnostic port, but a DDEC J1709 diagnostic port. Instead of buying an adapter cable, I would suggest buying a 9 pin J1939 receptacle and hooking the 4 wires necessary yourself.
This is a Amphenol AHD10-9-1939P AHD 9-Pin, J1939 Receptacle, I'm sure there are other brands that will work as well.
